Important Resources For High School Seniors

Attention Seniors:

Since many of you have already started in the admissions process for colleges, the next step is to begin the financial aid process. There are many resources out there in order to make college way more affordable for you and your family.

Your first action should be to fill out the Federal Application For Student Aid (FAFSA). This form determines your financial need and in return, tells your college what kind of financial aid you should get if you qualify. Types of aid include loans, grants, and sometimes scholarships depending on your school. Please fill this application out ASAP: FAFSA

After applying for financial aid, you should turn your focus to applying for scholarships. While applying for scholarships can be very tedious, the rewards are very worthwhile. Sometimes scholarship money goes unused because no one applies! Scholarships are pretty much free money that you never have to pay back. In order to find scholarships you should check out the following websites: The Wash Board, College Board, and Seattle Schools Scholarship.
